Digital Kala registers formally as a non-profit in Nepal. New partner cohorts, first published annual report, and the launch of the five-year plan.
A full year of partner sessions. Global Shapers Kathmandu in March, Tech Toli Speed Mentoring and Kathmandu Model College (KMC) digital marketing in June, and JUST AI in July. These widened the network to 25+ partner schools, clubs, and organizations.
The She Learns Tech cohort runs at Mary Ward School. The team also delivers its first collaborative sessions with schools and clubs, including CDPH, Shramik Shanti, Chautari Youth Club, and Bani Bilash.

A workshop making AI ethics accessible for citizens, student leaders, and community advocates. Co-organized with Good Leadership, Good Stuff Coaching, and the Madhesh Library and Research Center. 8 participants enrolled and 7 graduated at the ceremony held at Model Institute of Technology, Bagbazar. A practical digital marketing session for around 30 Management Faculty students at Kathmandu Model College (KMC), Lalitpur. Part of the Palpasha youth advocacy project with Women LEAD Nepal. Co-led by Pooja Shrestha and Aastha Acharya.
Co-founder Labbi served as an expert mentor for 20 to 30 young women aged 16 to 18 at a Speed Mentoring event. The event was designed by Tech Toli, an advocacy team from the Women LEAD Nepal Lead Course 2025, and hosted at the Samaanta Foundation, Thapagaun. Read the case study →
A virtual workshop delivered over Google Meet with the Global Shapers Community, Kathmandu Hub. 20 participants joined through an open call. Facilitated by Aastha Acharya and Yakhha Dipa Rai. It covered social media impact, cyber threats, online safety, and how to report cybercrime in Nepal.
A session for around 30 Grade 9 students, led by Dipa Rai (lawyer) and Unika Karmacharya (Digital Kala intern). Delivered in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Yala, Rotary Club of Yala, and YAAR.

Our flagship three-week intensive for 23 girls in grades 10 to 12. It covered programming, data science, cybersecurity, and career skills. Built in partnership with ASMAN and Code for Nepal, and funded by Projects for Peace and the Davis Peace Project. Read the case study →
